THE STONE OF 3000

Documentary on the construction of the new cableway.

Two consecutive facilities with a total length of 2800 metres. Three new stations, snow-making tanks and sorting out a few ski slopes. All of which needed to be carried out in the short and meteorologically unstable summer of Livigno.

More than 200 men at work and lots of equipment used. Internationally recognised companies working together with local professionals. Off-season snowfalls and (fortunately) lots of sunshine. Moments of discomfort and others of euphoria. Lots of determination to push through the construction of the facility that looks to the future of the Livigno Mountain Resort.

We filmed the construction of the new Carosello 3000 cableway at San Rocco from the first to the last day and selected the best parts to create the mini-documentary The Stone of 3000.
