THE FREEDOM EAGLE

When you reach Carosello 3000 Livigno for your Mountain Escape, you will not only find a new ski-lift facility, new stations and a new logo, but also a true totem dedicated to the outdoors. A sculpture, which we call the Freedom Eagle, was recently unveiled at the arrival point of the new San Rocco cableway.

4.5 metres in height and with a wingspan of 3.2 metres, the eagle of Carosello 3000 is there to welcome all the enthusiasts of both winter and summer sports.

The stand is made of corten iron, a material that is reminiscent of the colours and sensations of the territory. The top part, which is an artistic reinterpretation of the Carosello 3000 logo, is made of iron coated with a thin sheet of polished stainless steel. Thanks to materials that reflect the sun's rays and an analysis of the inclination, the mountain and the eagle rise from the stand and soar into the skyline in the midst of plays of light.

In addition to representing freedom and a love of the mountains, we would like the "Freedom Eagle" to become a place where people can meet and share their experiences. - Our marketing manager Camillo Bertolini states - Hence the decision to place seats on the stand and position it in a busy area such as the square facing the arrival point of the new cableway, instead of on a peak, as is usually the case.

It is no coincidence that every Sunday, right near the sculpture, there is an event called Welcome to freedom, where you can celebrate your mountain escape, win prizes, as well as find information on activities, events and top experiences going on at Carosello 3000.
