LET US INTRODUCE THE NEW CAROSELLO 3000 LOGO
It's time for great changes at Carosello 3000. A few days from the long-awaited announcement of the opening of the new San Rocco cableway, we present the new Mountain logo. A new symbol of freedom experienced through the practice of both winter and summer outdoor sports.
The design of the symbol and the wording is simple and sharp, reminiscent of the frankness of the people living in the Alps. The triangle symbolises the mountain and the bond with the territory that plays host to us. Then, there is the stylised eagle, the sign of freedom par excellence. A value shared by all outdoor enthusiasts. A value we want to remind all our guests of.
Yellow (in dark shades tending towards orange) has been kept to provide continuity with the past. The colour was passed on to the Cusini Group (current owners), after having been chosen as the corporate colour in the early ‘80s by Mr Walter Clausing – the previous owner of Carosello 3000. Next winter, at the 50th anniversary of its foundation , we will reveal the reason behind this particular decision.
The design of the new logo began more than two years ago, commissioning three different graphic design agencies to submit proposals based on the company’s values. One was subsequently chosen and worked closely with us on the development of the creative aspect.
"Initially, we focused on graphically representing the "3000", which is the strongest part of the company name and an indication of the fact that this is the highest mountain in Livigno", said Camillo Bertolini, Marketing Manager of Carosello 3000. "Although the graphic result was not without merit, we had the feeling that something was amiss. Looking back today, I believe that the intuition that led us to change course was due to the fact that the value of "freedom" could not be confined within a number. So we got back to work, producing ideas and graphic tables for several months. At the end, we produced a sketch that immediately made my and Stefano’s (General Manager of Carosello 3000) eyes light up. The symbol was universally popular because it highlights the values of the company and the mountain simply and naturally. We hope it will be well received by both the local community and all outdoor enthusiasts".
